service overview

What This Service Is

Every page on this site uses direct language on purpose. The service is meant to be understandable before a request is ever submitted.

Service definition

Quiet Presence provides structured, in-person, platonic companionship. Sessions may include quiet company, light conversation, and only the agreed contact format stated in advance.

Session format

Every session is fully clothed, consent-based, and confirmed in advance. The session structure, permitted contact format, timing, and setting are stated before the session begins.

What this service is not

This service is not therapy, counseling, medical care, crisis support, supervision, personal care, dating, romance, or sexual interaction.

Conversation model

If conversation is part of the session, it is limited to active listening and general conversation. No diagnosis, treatment, recommendations, or guidance are provided.

how it works

How It Works

The process is intentionally narrow: request, review, confirmation, then session. Nothing stays vague or open-ended.

01

Submit an intake request

Provide contact details, review the service limits, and disclose any relevant safety or access information.

02

Complete a fit review

Requests are checked for scope, boundaries, and practical fit. A request does not move forward until that review is complete.

03

Confirm session details

Before the session, the location, duration, permitted contact format, and any limits are confirmed clearly.

04

Hold the session within the agreed structure

Either party may request a pause, adjustment, or stop at any time. The provider may end the session if boundaries or safety are affected.

Examples of pre-agreed formats

  • Side-by-side seated presence
  • Shoulder contact while seated
  • Light stationary hug
  • Quiet company without physical contact

What requests are checked for

  • Clear understanding of the service scope
  • Respect for the stated boundaries
  • Practical fit and session safety

What this service does not provide

  • Therapy or counseling
  • Medical or personal care
  • Romantic or sexual interaction

boundaries

Boundaries & Session Rules

These rules are part of the service definition, not fine print added later. If a request does not fit them, it is declined.

This service is offered only to adult women. Requests outside that scope will be declined.

Core rules

  • All sessions are fully clothed at all times.
  • Only pre-agreed contact formats are permitted.
  • No sexual behavior, suggestive conduct, or sexualized conversation.
  • No kissing.
  • No intoxication by either party.
  • No recording, photography, or audio capture without prior consent.

Provider discretion

  • The provider may pause, adjust, shorten, or end a session at any time.
  • Requests may be declined if the service is not a clear fit or if safety or boundary concerns are present.
  • Boundary violations may result in termination without refund.
  • If a client wants another person nearby for their own reassurance, that must be arranged by the client in advance. That person must not be in the same room or participate in the session.

Client responsibilities

  • Maintain strictly platonic conduct at all times.
  • Respect all stated limits and any request to stop or reposition immediately.
  • Avoid sexual, coercive, manipulative, aggressive, or boundary-testing remarks or actions.
  • Disclose relevant safety, mobility, access, pain, or injury concerns before the session.

Service limits

This is an independent professional service. It is not therapy, not medical care, not crisis support, and not affiliated with or operated by any religious or charitable organization.

eligibility

Eligibility & Fit

A request can be respectful and still not be the right fit. The review process is there to protect clarity, safety, and scope.

Who this service is for

Any adult woman who understands the service scope and boundaries is welcome to request review. The service is designed especially with older women, widows, and women who are marginalized or experiencing isolation in mind.

When a request may be declined

Requests may be declined if the service is misunderstood, if the stated boundaries appear likely to be tested, or if safety, health, access, location, or conduct concerns make the session unsuitable.

Emergency and crisis limit

Quiet Presence is not an emergency, crisis, medical, mental health, or personal care service. If urgent help is needed, appropriate emergency or licensed services should be contacted.

Conversation limit

Conversation, when included, does not include advice, direction, diagnosis, treatment, or advocacy.

Location model

Approved sessions may take place in a provider-controlled indoor setting or, in some cases, by home visit. First sessions may be limited to provider-controlled or otherwise neutral settings. If the provider location is used, note that a cat may be present and incense, diffusers, or other scent sources may sometimes be used there.

Home visit availability

Home visits may be available by approval for an added travel fee. Location, access, parking, and third-party conditions must be disclosed in advance.

Target client note

This service is open to any adult woman who understands the scope and boundaries. It may be especially useful for older women, widows, and women who are marginalized or experiencing isolation.

about

About

The service tone is intentionally plain: calm, explicit, and bounded rather than persuasive or emotionally interpretive.

Quiet Presence is an independent service built around clarity, consistency, and clear limits. The goal is to provide a predictable experience rather than an interpretive or open-ended one.

The service is designed to remain platonic, bounded, and straightforward in both language and session structure.

intake request

Start the Intake Process

The intake form is for review only. It helps establish fit, safety, and clear session expectations before any time is offered.

Before a first session

First sessions should take place in a neutral, controlled setting. If the provider location is used, a cat may be present and incense, diffusers, or other scent sources may sometimes be used there.

Review note

A request may be declined if the service appears outside scope or if safety and practical requirements cannot be met.

Intake request form

All first sessions require intake review. Submitting this form does not create a booking or reserve a time. Requests move forward only when the service scope and practical details appear to be a clear fit.

If you received a recommendation link or code from another client, you may include it here. It does not change the normal intake and review process.

This form is meant to reduce ambiguity. If any part of the service feels unclear, review the boundary sections above before submitting.
